I replaced the rear window switch it worked for a day and then only worked to go down, now it wont work at all.

I took my old one apart its just contacts anyone got any ideas?

by the way it works fine by the tailgate key switch.

I did wash it, but my rear key switch works so the motor is good.:banghead

Did you replace it with a new switch, or a junkyard switch? I would think bad terminals or wires if its a new switch.

In this thread Fireguy50 has a tailgate window diagram.

Notice that the front switch has a different power source & fuse than the rear switch. Is the fuse for the front switch good?

What kind of switch did you use for the replacement?

I put newspaper on the floor and shot the hell out of mine with wd 40. It has kept it working for at least a year. It worked on my kids explorer door windows too.
