I had to deliver a generator just south of Memphis, TN (about 400 miles from Pensacola, FL). I normally use my wife's Trailblazer for long distance journeys since I have "retired" the Bronco to local in town use and an any working that needs to be done...with all these dang Hurricane, it works alot in the summers...
Anyhow, my wife had plans this weekend and couldn't use hers, so I had no choice but the Bronco. I took 2 toolboxes and all extra parts I could find in the garage...just in case...89 model with nearly 186K miles.

The Bronco never missed a beat! 70 mph (ocassionaly up to 80) the whole way...800 miles round trip. I got there, dropped off the generator and turned around for the trip home. I just had to add gasoline...a lot of it, but nothing else!

I'm was very impressed and proud of this old Bronco...she has served me well and continues to do so. :twotu:

Yea, my 93 with about 120k on the dial continues to impress the sh!t out of me.

When i think she is too old or too worn, she comes through with flying colors.

It is constant. I could pull a 2 horse trailer or run with nothing at all and it will always get 10 mpg...
