I have an 81 Bronco XLT, and the dash light fuse keeps blowing.
Sometimes it does with no prompting other times it will blow when I put my foot on the brakes or when I open the door.
I'm sick of the constant changes and want to find the problem.
Any suggestions where to start?
Thanks
Josh

Sounds like you need to start tracing wires. I would get the haynes out and trace all the wires on that circuit looking for the short.

Either something is wrong like slim said and you need to start tracing wires or
you need a fuse with higher amperage.

well using a fuse is so u don't give to much juice to whatever u put the fuse on and the fuse cuts out if it gets to much power, so getting a higher rated fuse would let the extra power through and risk damaging something, i'm with slim, trace wires for shorts, that's ur best bet
