I read somewhere recently that that was a recal issue with ford and that they should fix it for free. Apparently if it is left unchecked it can cause your steering column to have problems. I believe the write up said something about ford using a plastic peice that wasnt strong enough to hold the dash board on.

one day when I was doing a lot of google searches about broncos I found it in an article. Actually, that is how I found this forum as well. I just now tried to find it and couldnt. That figures of course.

I did not see however, the dash problem in there. I wish I could remember where the heck I saw it.

there has to be an easier (albeit more ghetto) way of doing it.
