I took a weekend off from school and headed down to Detroit to visit some friends and see the monster trucks and Detroit Auto show. It was a 1200 mile drive but it was a blast. I'll post up auto show pics later but here's a few highlights from the monster trucks

The track

FSB tough trucks

TTB

Short superduty

Monster mutt

Blue Thunder

Tough trucks

Scarlet bandit

Monster Mutt again

Thats about all I got. It was a blast.

That arena is friggin enormous... They look like R/C trucks compared to what it looked like when I saw monster trucks in Beasley... To give you an Idea Beasley's arena is basically a little longer than a basketball court (since that is what is normally there). Definitely cool pictures though.

Ford Field
:doh0715: Yes, should've known by the larger infield area and the lower angle of the stands.

I miss the old Tiger Stadium down on Michigan Ave. and Trumbull. :cry

Were they running more than one tough truck at a time??
At one point they had 8 racing each other on the outside oval course. There were 2 big jumps for them to go over.
