I have searched the threads and I can not find what I am looking for.
One of you guys posted a wiring diagram of how to wire the floor dimmer switch on my 78 FSB. You wired it so that when you go from dim to HI beam the dim and HI came on at the same time. This was done by connecting two wires together somewhere on the floor dimmer switch. Can someone get me to that diagram. This is what I want to do with my new heavy duty harness and 3g. thanks so much!

I added a switch because the light switch itself can only handle so much
current for so long and its built-in over load trips and the head lights go
on and off...

Oops. :)

I copied over the picture because it was just a picture of a switch in the
dash. LOL :)
Here's what I replaced it with tho...

My wiring diagrams are only for '75 pickups and '91 pickups and Broncos.

1) The low-beam-wire (circuit) gets turned off by the floor switch.
2) So all you have to do is jump from the "always hot" floor-switch-wire
to the low-beam-wire so the floor switch can't turn it off.
3) Get a meter first and try not to burn your truck up! ;)

I think my ex-wife has one of these installed everytime I talk to her she seems to get dimmer. so you want both headlight filaments to light up at the same time I take it?

Si. :)

I only use mine to get people to turn their brights off. LOL :)

I leave my switch on so it's ready to go but if I need my
brights (curvy dirt roads + cows) I can turn off the lows.
