OK we've been talking 'bout 2" leveling coils. I put a pair of Skyjacker Coils on my '88 this past weekend. I took it to get aligned and they tell me I need drop brackets for the axle pivot. It was my understanding that drop brackets were not required for such a small lift. Please give me some advice before I have to spend $180 for the brackets. I know, I posted the same thing in "Emergency Help" but no responses yet so I'll try here. Thanks.

you need the drop brackets to correct the camber. try some adjustable camber sleeves

Are you saying if I have the adjustable camber sleeves I don't need the drop brackets? The camber sleeves are not installed yet, the shop is telling me I need the drop brackets before even trying the camber sleeves.

I have the same setup or at least the 2" coils up front on my 86 f150 and I just used the adjustable camber bushing to fix my alignment.

My neibor has an 85 and he did the samething, and yes he finally had to break down and get the drop brackets.
