okay
dome light form f150 has three wires. grn/ylw, blck/blue, and black

truck has three wires. grn/ylw, blck/blue and red.

so my question is i match all the wires up and wire the black and red wire together right? That is what i need to know that is all thanks

Why are you using wires??? Doesn't the new light have the same 3 screws as your old one? They should line up & work.

yeah but dont you have to connect the harness that came on the new light to make it work? I mean how else is it going to get power?

Screwed it in. i figured out how to read between the lines with you steve. i didnt think it was that easy. i thought you had to use the harness that was used on the 150 and put it in the bronco. nope just screwed it in.
