After doing some rewiring and replacing the door switch on the drivers side on my Bronco, the door chime is working again, and its annoying the hell out of me. I'd like to disable the chime for everything but the headlights, seem to remember reading a thread about this, but can't find it in the dozens I've saved, or with a search. Any help?

There is a white box up under the dash to the right of the steering wheel. I do not remember which wire I cut but a probe will tell you which one gets hot with the door open and which one is hot with the door open and the lights on. Do not pick the one with the lights. One quick snip and no more ding dong:rofl:

When it dinging you will be led right to it.

Unplug the connector, release the terminal(s) of the function you want to disable, tape it(them) back to the harness, & re-connect the chime.

Key in ignition = Bk/Pk
Parking lights = Br
Driver's door = R/Pk
Driver's belt = Br/LB
