I did a search and didn't see any results. I am picking up a 96 bronco and I have a high end double din nav radio from my current truck and am looking for ideas on mounting it in the bronco. Post pics please if anyone has done this.

I'm working on something like this. Mounting a stack of amateur radios in an '89. I will be working on it, but probably not finished, this weekend.

Current plan: fabricate 2 aluminum plates, 10 3/4" X 8 1/2" X 8 " ( this is not a right triangle ).

Mount 90 degree aluminum angle plates to the 8" bottom side, and another angle crossways, the width of the biggest radio. Mount a chunk of Unistrut across the front of the console. Bolt the crossways aluminum plate to that. I already have a DC power distribution system in the console, and antenna cables routed in.

Still trying to design a front mount. Probably Unistrut across the transmission hump.

Pictures when I'm done, but no idea when I will be done.
