My neighbor and I have been debating whether or not I can legally drive around the state of North Carolina with my aux lights on.

On my top rack i have 4 pro comp lights(2 spot and 2drive lights) which i only use off road.

however the two on my front bumper are procomp 6" driving lights. which i have been using. on the street. I thought driving lights sounded like something advertized for street use. is there anyone who can tell me if i am right or wrong?

thanks!

I am not a 100% on this, but in NC nothing above your headlights is legal. Also any fog/driving lamps must be less than 55w. So your check the wattage rating on your ProComp 6ers. Also do they have a DOT stamp on them?

I stand corrected. my 6" are not driving lights, that was just word of mouth through the guy i bought them from. i see the ones i need on amazon.
