Dual Tire Inflator

Well I created another "so what" item, but it was easy.

Both of my rear rims have pinhole leaks in them so the tires need filling a couple times of week. I get them pretty close with the guage but I would like to ensure that I have the same pressure on both sides.

So I created a filling device that clips onto both tires, equalizes their pressures and fills them both up at the same time.

Used a brass T with a quick clip on the T portion and 7 foot hoses going off each end. Used clip on air chucks on both hoses. Now all I have to do is clip each end to each tire, then hook the quick connect up. I fill until I get the pressure I want and then I know that both tires are the same pressure.

Anyways, that's my stupid dog trick for the day

Pix? Sounds like a cool set up.
doesn't sound like a bad idea. have one on me. :beer
it works rather good from what i see. A fellow zuker has one set up to do all 4 tires at once for when he refills after wheeling. its kinda slow, but not bad consiering he is filling 4 tires at once.
Hmm, you guys are giving my ideas :thumbup
hmm Thats a cool idea. Now if there was a way to check the air pressure without pulling the end off the tire. Or to make it stop filling at a certain Pressure.

good set up for spools
Change the the 3-way to a 4-way and screw a gauge into one of the ports.
Ah there ya go Dustin.
I think I will be making one with a gauge. The locker plays hell with me since i have a slow leak.

they have a little electronic thingy that you put on the inside of the rim before you mount the tire, it then send s a signal to a little screen that you mount inside the truck,a dn will show you the pressure on all 4 tires.

to get the pressure to stop at a certain piont, you only need a blow off switch
