So that equals about 144k miles? Or am I wrong?

If so, that ain't to bad of a deal. Not a STEAL by any means, but pretty fair.

If you could get it for $1200, that would be a good deal.

something with a truck bed that runs is always worth 1200... add 4x4 and 3/4 ton and if you keep it running you can easily get your 1500 back out of it
If that truck were 2WD it wouldn't pull $800 where I'm at.

It's hard to judge a vehicle's value because it varies so much by location...

all your trucks are rusty:goodfinge.... and we have tons of mexicans here that need trucks to replace theirs when they catch on fire or whatever happens to them

and they seem to bee more than that by quite a bit in your auto trader within 25 mile of 49503 (down town grand rapids):scratchhe

Yeah but Autotrader is all dealers.

look here:

http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/car/501177174.html
http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/car/528824955.html

etc. etc. etc.

If that truck he posted were in better shape, I could see it getting $1500 no problem. But the panels appear mis-matched in color, etc. It just looks beat up. Esp. near the gas door area.

BUT. It does say $1500/OBO so I bet he could get it for $1100 easy. Then it would be a good deal IMO.

Count me oddball out. I'd let it alone and hold for a 460 powered one. Much better power for about the same economy. One of my old customers had an ECLB 351-powered F250 and got 12mpg.....that's not much better than my ECLB 460 F250 gets.
