I'm having the E4OD rebuilt for my 1993. The shop it's at is chargine me 2000. This is for parts, labor, shop supplies. It's also getting a new torque converter. Does this seem like a reasonable price?

2000 isn't bad when you consider what it costs
300 torque converter
500 labor to remove and reinstall
300-350 in clutches, bands, steels, seals, gaskets, band, filter, bushings
300+ if you need a new pump
780 labor to rebuild
and all that is not including any solenoids, switches, servo, or accumulator parts. also and hard parts or valves that are bad.
