will i have to change the u-joints on the zf5 to fit and is the input shaft the same as the e4od

the zf5 nor the e4OD have any u joints in them.

i would imagen that the input shafts are different since one is a manual and the other is an automatic.

you need to calrify or explain what you want to know...and maybe why..

You swapping the trans/xfer case combo???

BTW does the electric shift case fit on the ZF5???, or do ou NEED to swap the Xfer also??

just about all fullsize transfercases from about the mid seventies till around 97 are interchangeable.

I think your talking about the output shaft, not the input shaft, to mount your transfer case to the ZF5 right?

just about all fullsize transfercases from about the mid seventies till around 97 are interchangeable.

I meant the yolk on the transfer case

Wood a master cylinder from an 87 mount to my 93
