you may need to use the timing cover from your current efi motor onto the 84 motor.

Oh the confusion? You need to put your trucks details in your sig.
I can't answer any questions by guessing what Vehicle you have or want to swap engines on.

efi swap

if your using the same efi that was in the truck then all you have to do is put the efi on the donor motor, and swap the timing cover. if your going that far you might as well put a timing chain on, swap the cam for a little more thump. good luck Jay

Ok, so you have a Carb'ed 351 in a 1984 Bronco. And you want to put in a EFI 351. Understand now :thumbup The rest of these yahoo's are confusing you :twak

Everything will bolt on / in your truck. The hardest problem will be wiring it. Here si the closest to a write up on this: http://fordfuelinjection.com/setup.html

For the fuel system. I'd look at the pictures on Steve83 site and get stuff from a donor in a junk yard
Steve's site: http://www.superford.org/registry/vehicles/detail.php?id=2742&s=12737#content

For wiring help, look on my site: http://fordfuelinjection.com/harness.html

The donor truck had an e4od is that going to mess anything up, on my bronco with a manual?
Yes that will mess things up. Also makes the harness have more wires than you need.

I have the entire wirring harness, from the parts truck. from there will i only have to splice power to the EEC or is it much more envolved?
You have to tear that harness down and explore which wires need to be slpiced into the trucks body harness. It's usually a big project for the first timer
