I'm having issues with my 89 Bronco. Its Eddie Bauer 5.0 with "Shift-on-the-fly" the only problem is it doesn't always want to shift. I can shift into 4 HI but i cannot shift out withoutturning the ignition completly off. Its not a hub issue, since I noticed this when the wheels and hubs were off. My neighbor told me the same thing happened on his explorer and it was his Electronic shift control module. Anyone else experience this? Also I am switching from Auto-Locking hubs to Manual Locks an there is a "hat" that goes over the rotor and holds the wheel bearings and lockouts. where year models can i search for to find one that will fit a manual lockout? Is the junkyard the best place to look?

I had that problem in my 90, I ended up getting agravated, swappping out T-case for a manuaal shift, and swapping some front end pieces around and having manual hubs/manual t-case.
