I am helping a buddy with a motor swap on his non-street legal ORV toy. We got a 351W from a 91 f250 and it has all the airpump crap on it.

What are some creative ways to plug off the ports on the rear of the head. I was thinking of taking the pipe off (rotted anyways and leaking) and just welding the hole closed and rebolting it to the heads. But I am sure they will leak.

I searched, but wasn't sure what terms to use and I came up empty :(.

I just did this the other day, used two 5/8 -11 bolts and one roll of pipe tape from Home Depot. cost me three bucks. Of course the back of my heads looks ridiculous with giant bolts sticking out, but who looks back there anyway?
