Not sure if that's the real name for it, but it's located on the passenger side under the vehicle. It comes down from the back of the block and runs along the exhaust, and I guess it would plug or get connected to the cat. With this not hooked up, will it make it run rough?

they arent that hard to find and replace ;) and no it will only cause a severe exhaust leak if its not attached at the cat which would result in backfire and bad mileage LOL so dont remove it unless you dont have to emissions and are going to remove that cat.

That's for emissions only - not engine management. Look in my General Purpose pics & Diagrams albums.
Steve - That's actually the first thing I did, I looked threw your diagrams, but I must of passed it up. I'll take another look.

Spike - Yea, thats is how mine is, except on the back of the motor. I guess I'll be junk yarding next weekend. I don't plan on removing the cat until I get the new motor in.

I decided to pull some codes with the scanner. Only 3 came up this time(usually 5 or 6 come up). Two of the codes are regulars, but the other one wasnt. #96 Secondary fuel circuit failure. battery to pcm. Steve do you have anything on this in your diagrams? I will go a head and gander that way to see if you got it. Would this problem be the other fuel pump along side of the frame rail cutting out? I would say this problem happened after the mud bog a couple of months ago.

So like I mentioned in another thread, the one from my 5.0 just slipped right over the one from the new Catco about 4 inches. No welding there and just passed smog on Monday. And engine management is not a problem with this set-up? Sweet. I hate welding. Plus I don't know how..............:smokin:
