Here's my problem...

Broken off at the cat, so i highlighted the part coming off the smog and showing the break on the cat.. lets just say it sounds like i have no mufflers or cats and straight pipes :thumbup

How hard is it gonna be to fix? it needs to be done for my last year of smog :doh0715:

had this prob, you could use a tube a little bit bigger like i did to slide over both broken ends and clamp down, or if your smog laws will allow just replace the cat with one that dont need the smog injection tube and do away with the injection tube:thumbup

unfortunately there's no high temp hosing that I know of that is big enough for the pipe, and no way to get a welder in there without taking down the exhuast..

the pipe is full metal, no rubber hosing at all

i know.....damn at least i had a metal shop to scavange through, ummm huh i dont know were you could find a peice of metal pipe to clamp in there then...i geuss i was just lucky and found one, an old trans filler/lvl check pipe might be big enough but idk

well i got it done today, took about 6 hours total and it was a freaking bitch! but its done, and i dont have no more exhaust leaks coming in and the exhaust sounds deep, throaty and loud
