It's time to pull the engine from my bronco this weekend/monday.
I've only pulled one engine before (from a Mustang) and I used the stock lift brackets to pull it out.
On the bronco, I have removed one head from the motor (to diagnose the problem) otherwise I would bolt a chain to the exhaust manifold holes.
Can I bolt the head back on without a gasket, or can I bolt one chain to the exhaust manifold holes and one to a head bolt hole directly into the block?
I don't want to overthink this, but I don't want to make a stupid mistake either.
Thanks.
