this is for those of you with bowed coils..first ive seen of them

COIL SHIMS 7 DEG
TIRED OF THE BOWED COILS WHEN YOU LIFT YOUR BRONCO.
TRY THESE 7DEG COIL SHIM. THESE ARE MADE OUT OF STEEL AND WILL
NOT ONLY STRAITEN THE COIL BUT THERE IS A SECOND SHIM THAT
WILL ALLOW THE BOLTS TO SIT FLUSH.

( shims are made to order )

66-77 7deg Coil Shim 1/2" Lift - Price per set = $60.00
66-77 7deg Coil Shim 1" Lift - Price per set = $70.00
78-79 7deg Coil shims 0 - 1/2" lift - Price per set = $60.00
78-79 7deg Coil shims 1" lift - Price per set = $70.00
(Note: 1 set will do both sides)

These shims are designed for off road use only and not intended for a daily driver.
We recommend the lower coil shim be welded to the bottom of the coil cup.
NOTE: Bolts not included.

got that from here http://sierrabronco.com/vShoppingCart-PayPal/suspension.htm

there like 60 bux:shocked

Ive seen people make them.
yes, saw that, used about 4* in my setup and others, and it was just a matter of cutting a piece of steel to get what I wanted. That is good info. and is needed with the superflex (supersoft) coils.

This note is interesting:

Mine are welded. If your setup is proper this statement concerning daily driver is nonsense.

If you are unsure about proper setup, then refer to what the website says.

It looks to me like these shims are for adjusting the front to back angle. And it seems like most the problems ive seen with the coils were bowing to the sides. So it doesnt seem like it would really help anybody. Could be wrong though.

not these, the ones people make for sas's are, because of different frame widths
yep, though the idea came from manuf. of these shims, we're just using them differently.
