Ok so I believe I have an exhaust leak, all I need to know is, would an exhaust leak smell like burning oil?

Because when ever I drive it I smell burning oil, or something that smells like burning oil I check my oil regularly and it never changes, also my valve covers are not leaking,

Any ideas?

Oil could be leaking from one or numerous places on the engine and it doesn't take much when it hits a hot spot (I.E. exhaust manifold) for you to smell it. Do you smell the oil all the time or just when you're running down the road? Do you notice any oil spots under the vehicle when it's parked? If your engine compartment is dirty, this can make tracking down an oil leak harder. First step is to clean/degrease the engine of accumulated grime, as Steve83 pointed out, get a flashlight and mirror and start looking for fresh oil marks after you've driven the vehicle and the oil is warm.
