I have a 2001 Expedition EB 4x4. The outside temp display is not reading correctly. The other day it was around 20 degree outside and it was reading 75. Anyone know were the sensor is located or how to troubleshoot it? Any help would be much appreciated.

Don't see that problem to often, but I think the sensor is located near the front grill on the rad support. Its a two wire senser that looks like a small 02 senser. check that first make sure its not damaged.

Dang... I was afraid someone was going to say that. While on vacation last week I was passing a semi and a huge chunk of ice came off of the trailer and nailed my grill. It didn't break the grill, but pushed it back inside the surrounding trim piece. I suppose it probably hit the temp sensor and damaged it. Thank you. I will dig into it tomorrow since it is going to be somewhat warm.
