are these any good for our motors? i found an upper and lower for sale, would it even work on the 351, or is that a different intake?

edit, a quick search says it wont.

there is one for sale on ebay however, for you 302 guys

No, the explorer was only offered in 302. it would not be wide enough for a 351. However, its a pretty good intake.

If you want an aftermarket intake for a 351 go with an Edelbrock RPM or the Edelbrock copycat. The GT-40 is the next best one and still a great intake(Lightning or Cobra). If you have a 302 just stick with the stock intake.

Be VERY cautious with a cobra lower...you HAVE to use a 95 cobra R gt40 lower as it was the only cobra that had a 351. The other option is the 93-95 gen1 lightning. or buy a 351 gt40 intake.

All the lowers flow very very close to each other and any power gains seem to be from indv. casting diff. like core shift or what have you. Also people seem to say the FRPP (Ford Racing Perf. Parts) gt40 intakes have rougher castings/finish in some places, it mostly seems to be in dress up covers and such though but just FWIW.
