I know my truck isn't the only Bronco that does this because I've heard others do it. Very loud squeak when cold, terrably loud with the A/C on. Kind of embarrasing sometimes. I changed the belt tensioner, and the belt but still squeaks, anyone have a quick fix for this? and dont say belt dressing.

Are you sure it's a belt and not a pulley?

I'm pretty sure the tensioner doesnt have enough tension on the belt.

If your tensioner has enough room get a shorter belt 1 or 2 " should do. If it doesnt have enough room get a better quality tensioner.

I'm pretty sure I used a stock replacement belt but that was about a year ago, guess I'll swap it for a new one and see if that works. Thanks guys

Same thing here on the 96 when it's cold and especially if there's moisture in the air. I've had to change that cheap plastic idler pulley twice... lubricant works for about a week as a quick fix.
