Are you talking pivot arm brackets? If so, yes. Those will both need to be removed and new ones will bolt up in their place. Have fun with the rivets... they are fun getting off (hint, do a search of rivet removal or removing rivets or even just rivets... there will be plenty of hints on the best way to get rid of them!).
