Just another 4-door Bronco conversion

Top of the roof line looks taller than a Centurion conversion, the rear of it almost resembles a pickup truck with a cap. The wheelbase looks a little longer to, like a 4 door crewcab pickup truck? Prototype he claims, maybe 1 of the first attempts?

So is that 1 of there first attempts at making the 4 door? What year was the 1st 4 door available?
I think they were toying around with both versions at the same time.

Earliest Classic Bronco on record @ fourdoorbronco from Centurion, I think, is an '84 model.

Centurion was rumoured to have converted a couple '79's, but I've never seen anything to prove it. Not that that means anything. :thumbup

Kinda reminds me of something like a Chebby Suburban that screwed an f350 and that thing was the offspring.

Thats deff only 2wd, too low and closed front caps. looks like something done by a van conv company. That truck looks like it started it's life out as a crew cab, doesn't look like any bronco parts on there. There is a member here with a 79 centurion, IIRC it's silver or black pretty sharp looking.

Worth every penny and pretty darn rare. I have one of the 86 conversions (1000 series), the other style that looks closer to the version they decided to run with. We affectionately call them Moon Buggys. I have only seen maybe 3 or 4 in all of the years I have followed them

Black one is Infoford's, and he built it himself.
Blue one is 79time's, but still not a Centurion.

Most 4 door Broncos will be Centurion (The company who did the conversion), there are also some Magnums (Another conversion Company), and there have been a few identifed made from other limo/conversion companies.

To my knowledge all the 78-79 Ford Door Broncos (I know of about 9 to exist) were converted by individuals.

I saw one of those trucks around here a couple weeks ago. It blew my mind because I've never seen anything like it...

Looking at that era, you take or leave whatever options you find, you must of missed the extremely rare of that part of it. Or maybe missed the we have never seen more than a handful of these ever. Last one that came up for sale was 3 or 4 years ago.

I emailed him on the truck, still didn't tell me if it is 4wd. If it is automatic 4wd he does not need open front caps. I don't know what year they started the automatic option tho.

I emailed him back about rust issues and here is his response:

Yes, some around the door edges, etc. These can be easily fixed.
I will take $500 off for the repair of the rust, if you are
interested. The truck has new brakes, and new muffler/exhaust system.
I was going to repair everything, but my wife needed surgery, and
this takes precedence.
Robert
Two wheel drive. Does not need 4WD. Pulls like a champ. The interior
is excellent, with the exception of the speaker hole in the dash
opening up, where the many small holes are. Easily replaced.
Robert
If he is willing to take 500 off his asking price for the rust issues it sounds like a hell of a deal. According to him the interior is in mint condition other than the grate for the speaker. Why must I have so many projects....
