So we lost 20,000 workers by the 60’s so how many now?!
The Rouge plant makes one complete Ford F150 every 52 seconds. The workforce has downsized dramatically though:

"The Rouge entered the new millennium humbled by disaster and downsizing, yet still an industrial giant. About 6,000 Ford employees work at the Rouge. Now called the Ford Rouge Center, the 600-acre site remains Ford Motor Company's largest single industrial complex."

How's this for a stat:
Each employee has 41 seconds to complete there job and 10 seconds to get ready for the next vehicle.

I once saw a show about the upgrading of River Rouge, and they had a fully-automated single-assembly stamping mill, that when it was first used, it was auto-stamping door skins for the SD pickups. Just on a video, it was astounding to see it operate, and is a good reason for how so many jobs have been lost there.

Yet the cost of a new truck is astronomical!!!!!

I didn't know Captain America went into business for himself! At least he's selling Fords....
Lol...it took me a second. I had to google “Captain America alter ego” - I had no idea haha.
