Just went out to do a basic ignition checkup on the 300 and my spark plugs are not looking good.

Front to back.

#1: Clean, nice tan, healthy
#2: Nice tan, a little darker than I'd like it.
#3: 100% uniform dark tan, no white showing through.
#4: Completely sooty black and carbon fouled.
#5: Completely sooty black and carbon fouled.
#6: Very sooty and carbon fouled. A little bit of brown.

Ever since I've owned it, my plugs have always been stellar and healthy until replacement time. What does this mean? What should I do?

1981 Ford Bronco 300 I6.

They look a lot like this. Soft, sooty black.
