Public service announcement.

These bolts


That hold the motor mount bracket and help tie the crossmember to the frame where loose. I noticed it today when I was laying under the truck, the bolt in red had cleaned a small area around it from moving around. I put a wrench on them and sure enough, they were very loose. Same with the two on the other side.

Might want to check yours.

Wonder if that's the source of some creaking mine has when the front right wheel flexes downward. :scratchhe

The creaking is generally movement in the rivets where the engine crossmember attaches to the frame. They are also shown in Gack's picture. Weld the crossmember to the frame and the creak goes away.
