exactly thats why it makes sense that it is a scout 44. scouts arent fullwidth, they are mid width.

a scout was my first thought, too. Why can't you use it, if it's free?
I guess it depends on what your going to put it in...the third members on the wrong side for a bko.

General consensus is that it is a narrow track D30 out of a CJ with an interal spline hub conversion with 86 CJ knuckles. Hmmmm....lots of cash dumped into a crap axle. I might just part it out. Too specific of an application to sell it as a whole I think.

I'm sure you could get around $200-300 from a CJ guy. Try the older Jeep boards.

Just happened to find this - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Fron...051277186QQcategoryZ33728QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I might actually be bidding on this, myself, but the front axle looks an awful like the one in question here, with some minor differences :shrug I'm not questioning anyone knowledge to the axle that seed's asking about... just find it odd to find one similar

*edit - my bad, it appears the diff's on the wrong side, in that auction
