I recently had a new fuel pump installed in my truck and now after the fuel gauge isnt workinng it is showing way over full! i have no idea how much gas is in it now. Any suggestions on the problem and the fix?thanks

Pegged pass full is a ground problem.

I'm betting the plug isn't on all the way. Crawl up under there and see if you can make sure the plug is fully seated. If not, I believe the yellow wire is the grounding wire within the four wire harness. There is also a plug a few feet from the pump plug. Wires tend to corrode out there too.

Mine reads over full all the time, entill i have about 3 gallons left then it drops to empty, if urs does this i believe it is the fuel sending unit
