Where does the fuel guage wire hook up. My guage is staying at empty. I do not know if there is a place under the hood that I might have accidently unplugged the wire while working on the motor. Thanks.

Sorry, it is a 89 bronco with a 302. I have no idea why you would need to know the milage, modifications, damage or repairs made to answer this question.

probably a problem inside the tank. Float, sending unit, I'm not too sure on that. I never had to fix any of that... YET.

or it could be the wiring for the gauge.

Follow the wiring from the plug on the tank up to the front...

The floats in these trucks often develop pinhole leaks. That will cause the gauge to read erratically. Once it fills with fuel, it will sink to the bottom and read empty forever.
