I have a 302 with an edelbrock 4BBL on it. The carb works very well on the road or in the mud. When I get on the rocks the carb starts to give me fits. When I get on any sort of up slope i flood out and and the bronco dies. In most cases i can not even get up the slope due to the fact that i flood out. I have purchased and off road kit for the carb, not installed,. Any one have any suggestions for a better carb for steep angles at 10-14 thousand feet in elevation. I know fuel injection is the way to go but I am a broke college student. cheeper is better.
