Working on a F-150 with dual fuel tanks. Lost pressure from front fuel tank but it ran fine on back tank. A couple days later lost fuel pressure on the second tank. It started and ran fine ran around town with it then went to restart it and nothing. Have never been able to hear pump run. What do you guys think.

Losing both pumps a few days apart is more than coincidental. Almost sounds like someone dosnt like you and tossed sugar in yer gas tank (hopefully not). I would think either blockage somewhere or an electrical problem, I can't see 2 pumps that usually run 100,000+ miles going out at the same time. Any chance of dropping the tanks and bench testing the pumps? Is the frame filter plugged up, and the rear pump (usually used less) just had a little bit more power to get the fuel through til it clogged completely (?)
