Nope , but sweet stang!
LOL THANKS
fuel pump relay could be sticking....
If it stays running with the truck off, then most likely you have a bad fuel pump relay.
but why whould it turn on when i slam the door
the little arm inside the relay could be loose, slamming the door will cause it to connect and send power to the pump...grab a bosch relay from vatozone, they plug right in.
thanks guys

its to dark out side right now to look

is it under the hood by the fender or is it on the fire wall
what year? the 92 I pulled my FI stuff from had it in a small box next to the airfilter.

green sens. right behind air filter. there is also a brown relay next to it.
isn't the EEC Relay hanging closed a possible problem too?
When the ignition switch is ON, it turns the EEC power relay ON. The EEC power relay provides power to the powertrain control module (PCM/EEC) and the control side of the fuel pump relay.

Al, you are correct. If the EEC relay goes bad, it could be sending the signal to the fuel pump relay to turn the fuel pumps on.

One easy test for this is:

Without the key in ignition, bump the starter over with the starter relay using a screwdriver. If it is the EEC relay, the truck will start without the key in the ignition.
