I have a 96 Bronco XLT, 5.8 liter with efi. It has 33 gallon fuel tank. I recently replaced the fuel pump. Upon completion the fuel gauge doesn't operate correctly it just sits at full. I am trying to replace the fuel sending unit, or entire assembly. I can find several sending replacement units but they are all for the 18 gallon tank. Is there a difference in sender units due to size of tank?
In addition where is a good place to determine correct part numbers for 1996 Bronco? I have tried Ford parts and oem parts services but no luck.
Any helpful advice or correct parts numbers greatly appreciated.

I don’t think it’s your sending unit... if the gauge reads full, you have a pinched wire, or the sending unit is shorted to ground

LMC truck has a good selection of fuel system parts. If it’s currently out of stock, just email them, they will let you know how long of a lead time you’re looking at. I was able to get the 32 gallon tank, skid plate and fuel pump relatively cheap a few months back.
Hope that helps

Thanks for your advice. LMC was first catalog I went and checked. I wasn't thrilled with the results. Maybe just the way they operate their search engine. I kept getting strange results when I entered info for my Bronco and what I was in search of?
