Anyone else ever notice when shopping for parts, when it ask the engine size it has
6 Cylinders Y 4.9L FI
8 Cylinders H 5.8L FI Windsor (found in 47% of 1990 Ford Bronco)
8 Cylinders N 5.0L FI (found in 53% of 1990 Ford Bronco)

So if we have 47% 5.8 and 53% 5.0
so who the hell has the 6 cylinder 4.9

Was there the extra 0% that have 6 cylinders in year 1990

It's what percent of V8's were 302's and 351's. The only 6 available was the 300 so it's obvious what you have if you have a 6. Look up a 67 F100 when the 240 and 300 were available and it'll give you stats on how many trucks had each.

EDIT: well, the don't give percents going back that far, but look up something that had 2 v6 and 2 v8 options (caprice maybe?) and the stats under the 6 and 8 will add to 200%.

EDIT: here's one http://www.autozone.com/N,308974/shopping/vehicleSelect4.htm

Wonder if anyone ever droped down and swaped an engine to the 4.9?
