Bought my Bronco from a Marine that worked for me, needed serious work done to it and I spent 9 months fixing or rebuilding everything except the engine. Body is rusted in the usual places but I built it to run trails, body swap is in the future.

79 Custom w/351M bored .030 over, Edelbrock intake and cam but still running stock 2150 carb because it works for me.
33x12.5 MTRs
3" Lift, Rancho 9000RS Shocks
4:11, 9" w/Detroit Locker and Currie axle shafts, Trussed Dana 44 w/Yukon axle shafts.
C6 modified w/AO4D internals.
OBA using York A/C pump.
Duel Optima Yellow Tops.
New body in the works.

Running Gold Mountain Trail in Big Bear.

Running up South Park Canyon towards the bridge and Chicken Rock.

Trail repairs after wrapping my axle.

Broken factory wedge which caused my axle to wrap.

So much for this universal joint, glad I carry spares.

New spring perches from Ruff Stuff, reset angle to eliminate factory wedge.

Another picture of new spring perches.

I'll give this a shot.
Here is how it started off. Taken the day after I picked it up. 91' XLT with the 302 and E4OD and BW transfer case. Completely stock except for an aftermarket transmission cooler and temp gage. The gage didn't work though. Drivers side seat base was broken, and a bunch of minor things that I knew I'd have to fix, but nothing major. Mostly electrical issues.

So, 1 limited slip differential, new exhaust, dual battery install, custom seat covers, roof rack, custom center console, visor shelf, square tube grill with fog lights, roof mounted light bar, switch panel, hidden bumper winch, upgraded master cylinder and booster, a bunch of minor enhancements, and all the various repairs later...

My intent with this build is to make a reliable farm rig for my home town. We face a number of natural disasters every year and I wanted to be ready for all of them. I still have some upgrades left to go. I'm wanting to get a new rear bumper with a swing out tire carrier there. I'm always afraid I'm gonna rip the stock one off.

Still need new shocks. I plan on running 33's when the 31's I have on now wear out. I also plan on adding a ham radio in addition to the CB I currently have.
It currently serves as my DD, so I don't have anything extreme planned anytime soon. Being active duty AF doesn't allow much time for real modifications, or time to going out when all I want to do is sit and relax.
Other pics of the buildup.

New brake booster:

Dual batteries.

CB radio

Current switch panel:

Tactical seat covers.

Custom intake I was forced to make to get my dual battery setup to fit.

Drop down TV for the GF.

Poser shot.

i think i might have enough pictures to do this now so.
my dad bought this truck about 3-4 years ago from the original owner with 42,000 miles. rebuilt trans almost perfect interior, brand new pacer wheels and mud tires for 5,500$. He drove it for a year but then had to get a 6.0 excursion for towing, so instead of selling the truck i got it. i have been driving it for about 2 years now and will be a senior in highschool. so far i have rebuilt the 351 and trans. 4"sas, repainted some spots, random interior and exterior mods, and not done yet.

oldest picture i have, only difference from when we bought it is the tires

2nd time off roading, while i had a learners permit

fairly recent

I'd like to be considered one day!

This pics was back before I built my rock sliders, and when I was still on 33's.

Some driveway shots of how she sits now (except the winch and light bar is back on it.). If I get nominated I promise to go out and get some better offroad pics for you guys! Specs are no lift, 35-12.50-15 BFG AT's, 4.56 gears, Detroit locker up front, and Aussie locker in the rear, custom built (by me) cage, sliders, and winch bumper. 302, e40OD. I have the axle laying in the back yard for a SAS, just still not 100% sure that is the route I want to go with it.

I'm up for a FOTM contender sometime...

My latest Bronco is fairly new to me, but I've had many, many Ford Trucks and Bronco's before this one.

She's a '91 EB 302 5-speed, mostly just very clean and stock, paint cosmetically restored and with wheels/flares added.

Since buying it a few months ago I've rebuilt the steering column, installed a Borgeson steering shaft, Redhead steering box, new KYB shocks, replaced the soft brake lines, new calipers, rewired lighting, repaired the AC. All work done myself.

I just discovered this Bronco was originally purchased and delivered in Bremerhaven Germany. It spent most of its life in Tennessee, and now is in Colorado.
