Hey guys I have a Gargling water sound right behind the middle of the dashboard, what could that be? If not water some other kind of liqued. It's a 95 and the cooling system has been abused, but there's no leaks and nothing in the oil but oil. If the water pump was going south would you hear it as if it was near back of the motor?

Yup, you might have some air in the system.
When it's cold pull the rad. cap and let it run til the thermostat opens a couple times, should "burp" it out. Check your rad. cap, might need to replace it so it seals better.

Mine was doing the same thing, did the above and it quit. Most likely you have a small coolant leak, or your cap ain't sealing good. You did say the cooling system was abused right?

Keep and eye out for more problems!!!

Thanks for the replies guys..yeah the water probably was never changed in 140k, it's almost as black as the oil. I didn't really care because the frame and suspension are in great shape ro rust at all and the body is decent, so I figured I through in a motor at some point. I just wanted to run for a while to address other things. I'll try and burp my baby and let ya'll know how it turns out.

I spent hours burping my Bronco, but nothing. I changed the oil and added AutoRX, and then changed the water and added a Prestone flush treatment, and the noise is gone. I'm wondering if the Gargling sound could have been oil? I'm not sure which treatment fixed it but it's gone. Thanks for the help on this one fella's.
