i have a 88 bronco and i have to put the pedal to the ground to get going anything i can do to fix it or make it better???

adjusting it is possible i'm sure. i don't think you have a tps, i could be wrong. 80's are not my thing. Sorry. Got a haynes manual? They are extremely helpful.

when I got my 91 the gas pedal was bent and it wouldn't get over about 30-35% throttle a quick :smash adjustment to the pedal and now all is good my pedal doesn't even make it all the way to the floor before the cable is tight and I am at wot.

On mine I just (after a few cans of courage) grabbed the pedal and pulled like hell till I felt it was where I wanted it I am the only one who drives it so I dont care about any one else.

It wasnt too bad and I didnt break anything but I cant promise you wont break yours doing the same
