Hey guys im putting on my upper pinion bearing on my 10.25 and i cant seem to get the bearing all the way down to the head of the pinion. Any ideas? I cant really tell from the old one as it was trashed when i removed it. Thanks Patrick

I don't know anything about gears, but this couldn't be an issue from the other day when you didnt know if you had a long or short pinion?

What are you using to press the bearing down with? We need to know what you tried that failed in order to help you out. When I did my 8.8 I used a 30 ton press, but I'm sure a much smaller one would work just fine.
