I'm about done building my Storage box, for my bronco. I made it out of. 3/4" MDF.

I need a good spray sealant to put on th3e wood so that it doesn't rott quick.. Any suggestions?

Use a good exterior grade primer and and a couple of coats of exterior grade latex enamel paint... Easy touch ups that way..... Thompsons or other sealer products don't penetrate MDF very well. Fog

the problem with sealing MDF is that is very very hard to get it to stay cause the wood soaks it up. your best bet would be to roll on some polyurethane made for outdoor decks and stuff.

or use marine grade plywood, its made for wet applications. try bartop varnish.

I used what I had in my garage.. I'm in about $15 so far on the box.. And it's 49Wx36Lx12D. W/ 3 drawers.

I'll try an exterior primer and paint.. Those should work pretty good.

when i was building reptile cages out of this stuff, i used to get shower surround and line the inside with it to essentially make it water proof. you can get a sheet of it for like 9 bucks or so. just glue it in let it dry then caulk the inside.
