Its a 95 eddie bauer with the 351 in it and it is just useless going up a hill at highway speeds. On a fairly good grade hill, it won't hold 90 kph even in drive, nevermind overdrive. i end up doing 80 kph full throttle in second. Is this normal for the bronco? Or should I be looking into something with the engine. Tranny is in good shape and did wires, cap, rotor and sparkplugs. It has full dual exhaust, headers and a k+n filter. I think it should be a little better on the higway that it is though. Any input will be appreciated!

Also, economy fule gears are common, you likely got 3.08, wich will equate to gutless. I know, mine was the same, even with a 351 it seamed like a 3.5HP go kart a lot of times.

I have to get around 3000 Rpm in drive to maintain the speed limit on the Coquihala. Did you check the timing? If you don't start at a high RPM that will happen. The same thing would happen to me until I figured that out.
