Changing out my headlights on the '93 XLT, replacing with factory like headlights.

What is the best (vision wise) bulbs to replace old bulbs with?

I would like them to be bright but not to the point of being obnoxious to other drivers.

Thanks

These LEDs are plug and play they do cost more then the Halogens but they are way better/brighter than all the Halogens I've tried, you won't be disappointed and they come with a no questions asked 2 year defect warranty. Pop out the old and pop in the new and you're basically on your way. BTW I never get Flashed for running these, as long as they are adjusted correctly as they have been on my vehicle.

Here are some pictures of what the Headlight Revolution GTR Lighting CSP Mini, Supernova, LED plug and play Bulbs look like installed in Factory Headlight Housings that are old and not so clear. You be the Judge! The bulbs are in Low Beam Mode.

I'm certainly very Happy/Pleased/Exited about their performance compared to all the different Halogen bulbs I've tried over the years. I can see, as you can you can see in the pictures, way down the road.

I have tried more LED bulbs than you can shake a stick, 95% of them are Chinese junk
There are phonomenal, almost as good as the bulbs on my new Caddy

I also have the GTRs in mine. It was one of the best upgrades that I did.

I will have to double check but I put I think a set of Phillips xtreme vision and a new set of Dimond style headlights in mine due to the oem being yellow/ hazy. I also made a relay harness as the same time( in retrospect it would have been cheaper/ easier to buy a harness) but wow I am impressed with the combo. I also have a set of kc day lighters on relays with fog light bulbs that I use a fog lights when needed. On a side note make sure your headlights are aimed correctly. Hope this helps. I have heard good things about Osram Night Breaker bulbs but have never tried a set.

get a good quality of led headlights, run them for 5 minutes and touch the bulb, lol they get hot! Thats why most have fans and heatsinks
Oh yea they do but drive in a snow storm at 50+ in below 30 weather and you will see the light start to dim because the buildup on the plastic cover. Even worse in a Heep with those recessed headlights.

I was surprised. I went with a few name brands advertised as 'high output' 'extra bright' etc....pure shit
Even the ones that advertise a specific lumen output, sometimes good, sometimes not
Our FTC is letting mis-advertised Chinese made puke to get in the country so we cant even trust the product labeling
At least you have a chance if they claim an actual lumen output, I'd stay away from anything that just says 'Superior brightness'
