There's a site that explains how to service the Heater core and it states the following revering to this pic..."This is what the Unit Looks like
Also if you have Removed this cover you basically Ruined your Unit"
My question is why would it be ruined by removing the cover?

How is this a technical writeup?
:scratchhe: Both are equally good questions. Sadly, I regret I don't have an answer for either of you. :shrug :histerica:toothless

In other news: Do you have said link for said picture/question? And secondly, what be in da box that you be needing to take that thar cover off for?

That is where the A/C evaporator is located on 78-79 Bronco's.



Nothing gets ruined. You will not be able to service the heater core going thru that way tho so really it is a waste of time to split it there. Go at it from under the dash.
