So as the title reads, the heater in my 96 is not blowing Air. it has a VERY slight output, but nothing even close to being strong enough to warm the truck, output doesn't seem to change much my using the speed switch.
My question is this, I assume the heater blower is bad (because it's not blowing air) But how do I confirm?
Vents, defroster, and floor, none of it works. Before it completely stopped working my heater would sporadically not work. I was sometimes able to get it to turn on by changing the heater control knob setting really fast/jiggling it.
Could that particular switch be bad? My main problem is I don't know how to test the stuff, and I don't want to buy an expensive new blower motor and find out something else is wrong.
