I am new to this site and recently purchased a 96. I already added 6" lift (SuperLift Coils, BDS rear leafs, Bilsteins - 6 of em, SuperRunner Steering Upgrade, Yukon 4.56 gears w/ TruTrac up front, 35x12.50x15 MT Baja Claws with 15x8 rims....Still working out some kinks here and there all small stuff though. Had some wiring issues with the rear window as most of em do this old but I got that worked out. Just doin upgrades here and there to her like window seals etc etc. I sold a 76 about 10yrs ago and regret it every day. I learned a lot workin on that beast and knew every inch of that thing. Now on to learning the 96!!!!

Yo Bayou96errr,
Welcome and as SRWillis hinted😎, congrats on acquiring the best year Bronco which does looks exceptionally great!

Find out if speed control, if equipped, recall work completed by a dealership. Call local dealer or register and view status @ https://owner.ford.com; or @ https://vinrcl.safercar.gov/vin/ ... have VIN ready.
"Summary: ON CERTAIN PICKUP TRUCKS, PASSENGER VEHICLES, SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES, AND MOTOR HOMES CHASSIS, THE SPEED CONTROL DEACTIVATION SWITCH MAY, UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS, LEAK INTERNALLY AND THEN OVERHEAT, SMOKE, OR BURN. THIS COULD RESULT IN AN UNDERHOOD FIRE."
To confirm current status, use this guide by jowens1126 @ https://www.fullsizebronco.com/forum/23-technical-write-ups/457065-93-94-96-cruise-control-recalls-repair.html#post6530073
Note that the 93 recall is different than the 94-96 recall.

For any Bronco questions or to chat about it's planned modifications, it's better to post each seperately in Noobie Bronco Tech Questions. Flame free zone. She's still definitely a work in progress...always something on the list to do! Here's her maiden voyage pulling my boat after changing the gears to 4.56's....She stays pretty dirty right now due to it being sugar cane cutting season....roads stay muddy so I'll give her a nice detail once they're done cuttin'...Thank you all for the welcome...

That’s a sharp truck! I was drooling over it when you posted your pic from the launch the other day. Where do you hunt at? We have a camp in Venice and hunt the refuge in the mouth of the river and south pass.
