I know there are alot of write ups on changing out hubbs, but is there one thats better then the rest, or are they all about the same? I have never done this before nor do I know anything about doing it. I was just wondering if there where one for retards like myself.

I don't know if mine is any better but it's from when I changed out the auto hubs for Warn Premiums on my 90. I also swapped the bearings in it.

There shouldnt be any extra grease in the locking hub part it'll actually make it harder to turn especially when it's cold. A very light coat isnt a bad idea

yeah, when it comes to hubs you want to use grease sparingly.
